Washer Maintenance Tips:

Most new machines can’t handle too much detergent, they don’t know how to drain it properly and will end up with too many suds in the washer. Keep in mind that more detergent doesn’t mean cleaner clothes. Clean the fabric softener dispenser. Make sure your washer is leveled If its not it can cause your machine to vibrate during the spin cycle because the unit is a heavy one. Don’t over load your washer. If you fill your washing machine with more clothes than it can handle, it will cause it’s belt to slip or break, then you will need to replace it. So avoid that hassle and don’t overload your washer. Use the correct amount of detergent. When using fabric softener, add the recommended amount then top it off with water because fabric softeners are waxy and can gum up in you washing machine. This trick prevents that from happening.Turn off the water to your washing machine when your not using it. If your going away for awhile, turn off water supply to washer.
